Which is exactly what happened.
Good analysis. The bean counters thought they were saving money by cutting GS pay to 1.5. We at ALPA, and even the crew skeds (Dewey Jenkins) couldn't convince them it was a bad idea. They had to learn the hard way. I don't want to learn the hard way that 1.5>80 is a bad idea.
I've also said that holiday pay is a good idea and would mitigate PBS unstacking, but alas no traction on that issue.
