Malaria IS a big deal. It is NOT the flu. It is forever. My altruistic thing is to donate blood every 56 days (if possible) Africa trips take you off the list for a year, and Malaria takes you off forever. It is not a disease to take lightly, and frankly I am absolutely shocked you are so cavalier about it.
