This is really bad gouge. Malaria is the largest killer of humans in the world. There are multiple stains some of which are worse then others. The strain common where we fly is bad news. The mortality rate is over 25% if you don't get treatment started within 24 hours of the onset of systems. We have one pilot who died and several others who were given last rights but pulled through. Take the proper precautions!
