No one said (officially) that any decision has been made. Our jumpseat committee put out an update that stated they had met a fair amount of resistance from senior AA pilots who felt that a seniority-based system suits them better than a reservations system.

The reservation system is a win-win for everybody and is the most fair. It takes away 95% of the stress of commuting because you know you have the seat.
