I tell my closest friends to learn to flight instruct because it makes you a better person in about 49 ways. But if you really wish not to instruct, how about a block of multi engine time? You might have to unload trucks at Home Depot for 5 years like the rest of us for it, but it will get you what you need.
I agree with you 100 percent and I do plan to get my CFI eventually. But if I can get to the regionals without it right now, I'll wait on getting it. As for buying a block of multi time: I'd rather try to find someone that will pay me to fly, instead of the other way around
But if it comes down to that, I'll take out a loan and go that route.
