well, we bought my parents an ipad 1 right before there was an ipad 2, now the ipad 1 is not updatable. i thought SD or someone mentioned that was a concern probably right below the concern of buying Ipads while trying to get cozy at the cozy cone with microsoft.
I've got the iPad 1... works just as good as the day I got it almost 4 years ago.
I couldn't download MyRadar (which I highly recommend everyone get as t-storm season approaches) to it as that requires OS 6 or beyond.
