Actually the wide body CA got it the best.
Just because I've been a CA for almost 7 yrs at a regional, don't think that I've been rolling in a great QOL. I can't hold weekends off. It's a tossup on whether or not I can get holidays off. 10th yr pay is $15 more than 1st yr pay at mainline with a fraction of the benefits.
I've been trying to quit since 2008. Since the economy tanked and Age 65 let the geriatrics stay put for 5 years it's been a slow go for everyone. Sure you got furloughed. I'm sure it sucked. But you're back on the line now at mainline. Being paid well and treated well.
While those of us slumming it in RJ's are still treated like crap and paid poorly...praying for the phone to ring so we have a chance to do well at an interview and make it to the big leagues.
