Yes, I am 9L/9E refugee. And, first of all thanks for the JS rides to work! Ironically, I am not completely unhappy working here...I enjoy flying the DASH, and it is the last of this kind of 121 flying left. We are basically making history every time we take-off in the 100.
Like my previous employer, 9L had many systemic problems that led to it's demise. We had the wrong people in the wrong positions of leadership and at the wrong time making often short-sighted and bad decisions without fully evaluating the consequences and outcomes... ZERO synergy...AND, a total CRM/TEM fail in HR, operations, training and financial/cost controls.
Sometimes in business, the military and government a culture can exist within an organization that is counter-productive to the overall success of a unit. Metaphorically speaking, when this happens, it is time to relieve the person in command and put someone in place that can LEAD the personnel, establish and foster a positive working environment. Get the ship back on course. Politics being what it is in this organization will make a "command decision" on the part of corporate extremely difficult.
