IE, SFO 1212 means if you're not in the top 25% of FO's you're not getting SFO.

Exactly correct. That was the intent of my post.
I obviously failed at explaining it clearly enough.

To address the criticism (I figured there would be some)
I did these numbers for me because it is the only way that means anything to guys near the bottom of the list. There are so many "defered furlough" guys down there. That looking at straight seniority numbers gives a distorted picture of the actual situation IMO.
Let me illustrate with an example.
If I look at seniority numbers I am 1035 seniority numbers from the most junior FO in the base I want.
However, a lot of those guys are deferred furloughs most of who, IMO probably won't be back (or they would have come back for the BK payout).
If you look instead at relative position of FO's currently "on property" then I am 438 from that same base.
That is the number that matters to me. How many warm bodies on property are there between me and the base I want....
Now if I could only figure out how many actually want that base.... ;-p I know of at least 18 and you are one of them.
In any event I did some work to get those numbers and instead of just trashing them I figured it may save someone else some work figuring it out themselves.
To anyone they caused confusion to.....
Just ignore them, they make sense, and are useful to me.
I purposely didn't use the word "seniority" in my original post and explained it as best I could. But I suppose I failed on making it clear enough for all to understand.
