That's the whole point of, what we call, "making your own decisions." Part of growing up and being an adult is taking lots of information and thinking critically to come up with the best solution to fit your own parameters. When someone comes on and asks a question like, "what bases do you have," or "what regional should I choose," it's frustrating. It shows that you've done very little to help yourself so why should I want to take time out of my day to help you?
Also, it would take "days?" BOO HOO! This is only the beginning of the rest of your life we are talking about. It should take weeks or months to get enough information about perspective employers to make an informed decision. Complaining about it taking days is the reason why we are all in this mess to begin with. If people felt a little less entitled to things, perhaps there wouldn't have been a race to the bottom. And yes, there are a lot of people who complain but there are also a lot of people who would vote 'yes' for concessions or say great things about every single regional. Quit pandering.
Stop trying to make this website a metaphor for life.....It's an internet forum used to gather information and maybe do a little networking. It's not a microcosm for all our lives and it's certainly not insight into this guy's attitude, or work ethic.
If someone can come on here and get the information they need quickly without reading 12000 pages of dribble, why not.
It doesn't mean he's entitled, or lazy, or is going to vote yes to concessions.
pretty much everything we do in our lives is made easier because someone before figured out how to do it smarter. Cell phones instead of pay phones, automatic transmission instead of manual, ATM instead of tellers, that little guide on your TV instead of using a book or guessing, freakin' microwaves.....I can keep going forever. Using these things doesn't make us entitled or lazy, it makes the person not using them a moron.
The easiest way for this guy to find out those bases was to ask someone who knew. He thought this would be the place.
Apparently he was wrong because I don't think he got the answer but instead got to read a bunch of pompous posts from people telling him whats best for himself when it comes to internet forums, and also, life it appears.
