Funny story: when Al had his radio show, I got to deliver a few of his FedEx packages both to his office in downtown Minneapolis as well as to his condo which was not far from the Francis Drake (MSP people will know exactly what I'm talking about). The next time we met he was a Senator and I was flying him from DCA to JFK on a CR9. As he was getting of the plane, he recognized me. "You look familiar", he said. "I used to deliver your FedEx packages, and now I get to fly you around", I said. He seemed surprised "How did you get this job?" To which I replied without skipping a beat "Because I'm good enough..."

I now get to say that I made a sitting US Senator laugh very, very hard.
