What's the best way to get a buddy pass rider from JFK to Providence (or Newport) in June? I just looked at travel net and there is no service by air between the two, is there a train or bus line that runs up there? He's not going to rent a car and I don't want to drive into JFK to pick him up.

Perhaps he can get a bus/cab to LGA and then....? Fly the Shuttle up to BOS, then a bus to Newport or PVD?

We are doing a regatta in Newport for a week in June, he's flying in from Zurich on a buddy pass. I told him to fly into ATL then fly up to PVD on Delta, but is there an easy way to get from JFK to PVD?

Any ideas from you locals up there would be greatly appreciated.
