Seriously??? This IS great! You're talking 3500+/- just this year! The wave is JUST beginning and will last 10 years, the BIG numbers really kicking in around 2018-2020'ish. By then the Regional Capts & Military guys will have been exhausted. In the meantime, currently the Regional guys have realized the power of Unity and voting NO. Outsourcing is getting ready to die a fast and furious death. In the last management/LCA meeting it was publicly made known that DAL intends to END DCI. They are actively shopping for more 717's wherever they can get them. We already have CRJ900 & EMB195 rates in our current contract. Look for 700 rates to be negotiated next.

5 years from now to path to a DAL 717 or M88 seat will be through an RJ...at mainline.
