What are the AVERAGE days on and hours by the end of the month. People at my current employment like to focus on the bad, such as "taxable travel to work, insurance costs, and a bunch of other garbage." I am not naive and I realize every place has its negatives, but what matters to me is days off, pay hours, and insurance quality and cost.
Thanks guys! Keep up the great posting!
I seem to serve my 17/mo whether I need to or not, that has been the vast majority (90+%) of my time here. Other bases seem to get guys home keeping them at 62. It seems to be base dependent.
Insurance has been good, imo. I've been satisfied.
The way the CBA is structured, the company has a lot of latitude. They choose to lean to the side of inefficiency. They could make some choices that could easily improve our QoL exponentially while maintaining our pay in a cost-neutral fashion. However, they choose not to.
