I understand day trips if you are top 3rd but CDOs not really, I am Junior in my base but since I am based and live in a Base where 85% of the FOs and Captains are commuters the top 10 take the day trips and live at base while the rest are commuters and they don't want to do CDOs. Four months straight now I have been doing CDOs and pick up either day trips or two days (for perdiem) on my days off and get about 99 to 103 credit a month. Wish my company had premium pay like my previous one then I would wait for them to call me on my days off with offers but I have to work with what I have right now.

Anyways we are straying away from Songmans question. The truth is that it is hard to find a regional to make money first or second year with how much you are making now, that is why we all have to stay united on all these concessionary contracts and show the companies that we are worth more than they think.
Songman sometimes you have to take a step back or two to take a step forward... I had to do it. I was at $35 an hour and went down to $19 and slowly moving forward, got the QOL right now and working on money now.
