At least 3 guys did not make it through the interview process due to the sim, and there were good dudes. There's plenty of gouge out there about the technical questions, both on the test and in the interview - know that stuff cold or don't even bother showing up. They're not just taking whoever shows up.

It was a pleasure meeting you and the rest of the guys. I ended up not having to do the sim…during the debrief they told me to expect an offer this week.
Totally agree with you on your assessment of the interview.
For anyone who's planning on a SkyWest interview, make sure you are sharp on sim procedures using old-style steam gauges and raw data (no GPS, no glass, etc…it's a Frasca.) And also make sure you study the gouge…which, fortunately, is spot-on accurate.
