That ALPA quote is the biggest pile of horse manure I've ever read. I doubt that came from ALPA national. Where was that quote from? Your airlines' MEC? Is this a U.S. airline?

There is no law or legal requirement that requires an employee to give any notice before leaving a job. MANY cordially give notice as this seems more like business tradition.

This sounds like a late April fools day joke.
