According to Donatelli at the NYC LEC meeting, they are very close to wrapping up the 117 negotiations. From what I've heard from talking to some reps is that it's kinda hard to negotiate with the company when the comapany doesn't want to negotiate.
One thing that was said in the meeting was that (I think I got the numbers right,) the historical number of GSs in Jan-Mar was 500, but for Jan-Mar 2014, we were up to 5500. That finally got the company's attention and motivated them to start talking.
After looking at the Assignment/Green slip Report for March 2014 on the Dalpa scheuling committee page, I believe that 5500 is based on "duty periods" not total number of green slips. It looks like the average number of green slip/assignment duty periods per month for 3 months is 4900...That's still quite a few.
