Not exactly the case. ADSC waiver authority was released last week allowing up to 6 year service commitment remaining for UPT to be waived. This was to capture the '03-'08 yr gp pilots (in particular 11M) that need to be downsized. However, apparently in an AFPC webinar with MPS CC's there was mention of delaying VSP apps again until the 1 May application window closes. To date I've only heard of a few dozen pilots being approved. Seems like they are randomly reviewing applications. An '02 11M here, '07 C-17 guy there, couple '05 yr gp C-5/17 folks. Who knows how this will all turn out. The goal posts move on a daily basis, but my family for one would like to know ASAP since my terminal leave would start in 2 months and my ducks are not lined up yet.
