Gjn290 - I am a guard helo pilot currently getting my Comm-Inst ASEL and AMEL, and I am trying to keep my ear to the ground to see whats out there so I can start applying as soon as I pass my checkrides. The problem I am facing is I have all this Helo time (Turbine, Multi-Engine), and very little fixed-wing. I can see having to spend some time bringing the fixed-wing time up. Although I have heard some regionals (skywest and ExpressJet specifically) will take Helo time.
They will only take a specific, computed amount. IIRC. I got most of my time flying skydivers in Florida before going to Comair back in 2008. Depending on the DZ, it can be a fast way to get time.
