Delta did a *codeshare* (you do know what that is, right?) with Eagle. Pax would fly Delta into LAX then hop on a regularly scheduled AA flight operated by Eagle. In other words, Delta put their passengers on a plane flown under AA code.
Eagle never flew Delta routes.
