Yes, tricycle gear is FINE there. The runways are hard packed sand/shells and are as firm as concrete. Yes, there's some grass growing in them, but it's pretty beaten down on the most commonly used runways. It's the least "grasslike" grass strip I've ever operated from. It feels just like a slightly bumpy concrete runway.

I've operated there with cessnas and pipers no problem. Just be sure to check in and pay the landing fee before you taxi to the beach. Use your soft field taxi techniques on the taxiways, and you'll be fine.
