Supposedly there is going to be a position notice every other month now for upgrades and base changing. I wouldn't worry too much about seat locks in 700 etc seems like they lift the locks a lot
The company seems hell bent on not upgrading. Even when Delta said here's some flying a couple months ago they told them no, please reduce it, we need to shrink. The future bids will likely be flat as they move people out of Atlanta and shrink as the 717's come online. You say that we will start to see attrition in mass as delta ramps up. That's just not true. Many of our guys want to work for them but we no longer have a large percentage of their classes from our ranks. Flow throughs will prohibit civilian hiring from ASA. Most of the off the street will be military buddies and special hires. Not much space for ASA guys. I just can't be as optimistic as you after so many years of beatings.
