I never pointed a finger at JetBlue. If you read my first line, it was simply to give a comparison. For what it is worth, if JetBlue charged $9 /month for the blue plan I would have thought that was reasonable for major medical.
On a side not JetBlue could have used the five core values to navigate the road of healthcare. They could have phased in blue/green/orange plans. They could have forewarned that obomacare was going to force changes to what they could offer and let employees know the changes were forth coming. Instead they went for the jugular, in my opinion.
I do not care to get into a debate about why it changed, I just wanted to provide apples to apples comparison. I want people to realize that we spilt 80/20 with ual on healthcare cost, and it $9 a month. What is the spilt then for b6? Obomacare or not.....the decision was made to get all they could while they could.
