I would have to agree with purple on this one. Never forget that you are nothing more than a cost to Delta. Any allegiance you have to them will not be returned. They will not hesitate to furlough you if it makes economic sense. They have no problem taking your retirement or violating the contract. While not an adversarial relationship, just remember if they could get rid of you to save a dime they would. Talk to some 2000-2001 hires they have a pretty good grasp of Delta's opinion of you.
