ALPA would simply charge us an assessment as they have many times in the past, it's my money, I want it, it's been a year. I threw my pin in the garbage for a different reason. I am a MIGS, I contribute to the PAC, and I have picketed several times. HOWEVER, I grew up in a union family and I explained to these actual union members what happened during our contract negotiations with the 76 seaters. They chuckled and said, "that's not a union".
THEN I found out that LUAL pilots DEMANDED I wear the pin. Well, that just makes me not want to wear it EVEN MORE!!
