I believe we have the potential -- a membership willing to step up to the plate and make the sacrifices needed. What we lack is a Patton.
This is a really good flying job. It should be a GREAT flying job. It could be but it never will be as long as the leadership and/or the pilots don't understand the process of negotiating a contract and have the WILL to make it happen. As others have said, the only thing - I repeat, the ONLY thing that gets management's attention is operating cost and delivering the goods. I absolutely do not like the idea of a financial war. But I also absolutely believe that anything less will not move management. History proves that to be true at this property. Others think management will ultimately come around to appreciating our value to the bottom line. As long as the two different views exist, we will remain stagnated.
