Hmmmmm......just doesn't seem right that the CEO of a company should be sending religious messages to all of his employees. I'm a practicing Catholic so obviously I don't find religion offensive, but business and religion should be kept separate. Or perhaps he should allow his employees to "opt out" of receiving such e-mails. If he were a Muslim and sent out verses and blessings and quotes from the Koran, I'd bet there would be a much different response.
But obviously there's an underlying message he's trying to send to his employees, and the fact that he tries to use his "faith" as some sort of sweetener to make the real message go down easier is kind of insulting to me as a Christian.
".....but that Jacob cannot seem to grasp how his disobedience actually prevents him from achieving the happiness he desires."
Hmmm....wonder what message he's trying to send there? Father knows best apparently, huh? What a db. When I think about Easter and what it means to me as a Christian, obedience might be a theme, but it's certainly a tertiary one. Out of all the messages a Christian could write about this week, he picks obedience- what a coincidence. He's trying to distort a message of the Holy Week for his own demented needs. Again, what a db.
