Right. At $38K per month, I'm thinking he's at about 170 hours (converted from TFPs) per month. A regular lineholder at Delta could possibly do that, but the cards would all have to fall into place. A reserve lineholder could also do it, but only if there are enough GSs to go around and around all month long.

I do understand that SWA does not have the 1 GS rule as Delta does. IOW, a senior pilot can fly all the premium pay trips he wants without regard to more junior pilots. One would have think that this too keeps the average SWA pilot from doing what this jumpseater does.

SWA guys, please add to this discussion to clear up any misconceptions. Thanks...
