It hasnt already? Airlines are cutting routes, parking airplanes and bottom line returns lowered. It may only be at the entry level and it may indeed be a "shortage of people willing to work for x dollars" but it is still a shortage. It's getting worse every day and there is no end in sight. Something has to change and it has to change soon. This is not something that they can come up with a fix today and the problem gone tomorrow. It will take years and some "difficult" decisions but management folk to fix this.
