How exactly is hating a bad job being elitist? I understand the idea of "paying your dues" you're going to have to do that in any career field out there. The problem with this particular career field is that the chances of making it out of the regional quagmire are only slightly better than winning the lottery. This has led many people spending half their earning years "paying their dues" and in some cases their entire careers.

Someone brought up pyramid schemes in the eagle thread, this career is the ultimate pyramid scheme. A small percentage of guys reap the benefits while a large group toil at the bottom of the system with no hopes of climbing out of their squalor.

Edit: Just realized you wrote you spent 3 years at Eagle. I'm going to assume that was 3 total years at the regional level? Not everyone can be as connected or fill a quota as you were able to. I think you should step back and realize just how lucky you are.
