1. Go take the AFOQT/TBAS
2. Get a package together for Air National Guard units.
-Pick your base and airplane.
-Excellent retirement and benefits.
-Serve your country.
-FREE flight training.
3. Let the dust settle at airlines and try it out later on. You will likely be able to skip regionals.

That was what I would of done if I was in today's market. I got lucky and got on at an airline at 19 with 1000TT back when that stupid 1500hr law wasn't around. I'm 22 now and on retirement from the RJ job while I learn to fly a 580,000 pound airplane and see the world.

Doesn't that sound much better than starving yourself through flight school and at a regional right now?
