Maybe there was something in your background they didn't like. There's more than type ratings and total time involved in pilot selection. Aircraft accidents, driving record, checkride failures, criminal history, employment history (terminations), low GPA, etc. - all are considerations.

FWIW..no accidents on my record. As best as I can determine, I have never been arrested. In 35 years of working, I have never been terminated; and yes,
one failed checkride out of over 45 total checkrides taken- BFD.
Good for you that at least one of us is perfect.
