I have a failed CFI checkride and a failed Dash-8 upgrade checkride in my history. Also a taxiway excursion in a blizzard (I was found not at fault) by the FAA. It's all listed on my Airlineapps file.

I suspect it's holding me back from getting a call but like the other guys said, they're gonna find out about it anyway. When they do, if you didn't disclose it, kiss your butt goodbye. Disclose it.

Well, looks like it was actually 2 checkrides...one of which was an upgrade, which weighs very heavily. The excursion may or may not have counted against you because it wasn't your fault, but it likely did not help. Even if you were invited for an interview, the panel might have weeded you out anyways. A positive attitude, professionalism, and communication skills are heavily weighed in the decision to hire a candidate. Referring to the recruiters of your prospective employer as "boneheads" is a bonehead move. Don't kid yourself, your screen name may hide your real name, but recruiters do check the forums and it's pretty easy to put 2+2 together. Especially when you list ALL of your qualifications.

Don't let this be another chip on your shoulder, just move on and try to find another pasture that's your preferred shade of green
