I'm suggesting action to support PDT pilots through gestures such as DOH merger agreements. Eagle, XJT, and RAH have leverage due to their sheer size. They can continue to say no to every offer and know they will still be around for the foreseeable future. PDT, not so much.
PDT has a few hundred pilots whom currently feed 100% AAG, If the FOs on the list are let go as they shut you down there is no guarantee that the majority are going to feed AAG with their new carrier, so in essence they would be giving the competition a good number of pilots that will help them with the current staffing problems. You are offering a bonus as a way to attract new hires and currently AAG is transferring block ours to mainline as the regionals are unable to staff the flying. RAH, AE and PSA all have reduced the block hours flown in the last few weeks due to staffing. You have more leverage than you think. I command you for not letting other bully you. Publicly we don't know what the talks are about, the PDT pilots are in need of good news but you guys have a whole lot of leverage. Don't allow them to put you against the rest of the industry and keep your head high!
