I have done the msp-nyc commute. I highly recommend avoiding that. The problem will NYC is the company's line construction is garbage. Early starts and late finishes, non-commutable on both ends. The Flying is pretty good the crews are great. The only downside is the pairing construction I refuse to spend 6 days on planes for a 4 day trip.
Either one is gonna suck for a while, unavoidable fact of life for a commuting FNG. But from what I'm seeing & from talking to folks, MSP-NYC might suck a bit less than MSP-ATL.
