Ultimately both jackets have a place for IDs, epaulets, and name tags identifying you as a crew member, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem, but still would like the peace of mind of knowing. I would really prefer not to fork over 400 bucks for a leather jacket again.
Thanks in advance.
You could probably get away with it if you avoid the mothership (SLC) and stick to the West Coast. But I wouldn't bring it on IOE...some of the LCA might feel obligated to address the issue.

Might be a better move to sell the jacket you have and put the proceeds towards the correct one. If you're West Coast EMB you could get by with only a blazer or sweater. But if you're on a jet you'll go to Canada, Fargo or Minot eventually.
