What an idiot! Military aviators bring a lot to the table. There is a reason the military can make an Aircraft Commander/PIC in less time than in the civilian airline can. It's the training. Granted they don't have butt load of hours or a lot of experience operating at busy airports but the amount of emergency training they go thru is a lot and is second to none! They fly around the world with little to no help.
All pilots being something to the table. IMHO Airlines are better today with a mix of past experiences.
When it comes to this flying, the military guys don't bring more to the table than anyone else here. I know they would like to think they would.... But it's not the case. If you are a "civie" and have a good attitude, APPLY! I would love to fly with you. Some of the best I've seen here are the guys from the regionals (no I'm not a regional guy).
