My advice: Bite the bullet and take out a loan to pay for your training. Even if you have to do it one license/rating at a time.
This. Get through it as quickly as possible. Especially early in your training, as with anything else, you'll forget things very easily. If you already have a 4 year and the time for it, something like ATP will speed things up significantly.
