We are looking down the barrel of possibly being a 7,8 maybe even 9 year FO here. I hope we see some serious movement here soon otherwise I am leaning to just finding something else to do then just quit.
Well at least you have the option to stay where you are. Most people get furloughed or laid off at least once in their careers and its never at an ideal time.
If I were you I would sit tight, stay where you are, keep sending your apps, and keep your eyes and ears open.
F.O.'s are getting calls at the majors, just like captains with TPIC and college degrees aren't.
The only scenario where I would start over at the bottom of another regional would be if I'd been sat on the shelf for a while and need to get current again, or the other regional was hiring street captains.
Things are happening fast in this industry right now. Those of us who are current and qualified just need to be patient.
