Not to throw gasoline on the fire, but trying to commute HYA-LGA in March and April, Colgan MX cancelled on me twice. On less than ten attempts.

Maybe the B1900s have more problems than the S340s? But Colgan does seem to have a higher rate of MX problems than elsewhere. (Over the last two years, I've had one flight MX cancel flying the CRJ for PSA & the ERJ at AE.)
