Big May Day protest going on right now just outside the front door of our layover hotel in Mexico City. Does not appear very "gringo friendly". Something about Yankee imperialism.
I think I'll wear my Che Guevara T-shirt for pick up instead of my uniform.

Edit: So there's no misunderstanding. Mostly just joking. The protest is huge. Very impressive. But the crowd appears mostly very well organized and orderly. No threats to anyone. Plus the whole area is swarming with cops and soldiers. Looks like they are all starting to march down Reforma toward the presidential palace and away from the hotel now.
