I think not having a college degree will not keep you from getting a FO position with a regional airline. It may help your chances. The Academy I am instructing at has had several instructors get hired without degrees since I have been there. Find a good program, start flying and work on your degree while instructing. Good Luck
Try to get your degree before you get to the regional level. You can get ratings and flight instruct while doing college. I fly with lots of guys at my airline who put off the degree until they got the regional job...well then you're gone all the time, get married, kids maybe...no chance in heck of working on that degree now, so you're stuck at a regional the rest of your life.
