Respectively, NERD. You consider one or two people, "a line?" Much less, a line requiring you the need to cut in front of? Just asking. "Tool award" for it might be slightly exaggeratory, but I think cutting in front of only a couple people, or one family (two adults & son) does show some reduced situational awareness. JMHO.
My rule of thumb is whatever cutting is necessary to get me within 3 or 4 of the x-ray machine. I tend to get gassy when people don't let me cut.
