It could be two syllables but management "streamlined" it. It was a long, painstaking process involving all of upper management and a very expensive consulting firm. Their goal was to make it one syllable but somehow through all the work and expense it ended up being three syllables. Everyone involved was so impressed with the job they had done they are now trying to tackle a memo out to employees on how to correctly wash their hands.
