I heard the story the other and then went and checked his blog, last entry was 2012. I flew with him just after he accepted job or knew he was going to and he was convinced we were going to liquidate. Told me I should get my app in while I could, sure glad I didn't.
I followed his blog for a long while. Then, there was a long gap. The last few posts sounded like he wasn't able to say much, as if he was carefully watching his words. My opinion only, but there seemed to be a loss of enthusiasm.
Now he's back as an FO. It would be interesting to get his take on things. Do you think he regrets his move? I know I was very carefully considering doing the same thing. But, it never got so bad that I was willing to pull the plug. I think I probably made the right decision.
