Back in 1992 or so I bought a 1963 Comanche 250 for $36,000.00. Today after tricking it out for the last several years I wouldn't sell it for a hundred grand. I still would take a loss on what I have in it.

However as gas goes up and possible big user fees coming more people may get out of the GA ownership business. Perfect time to get into a small airplane if your trying to build time. You can buy a used single or some really nice twins and still be way under what a new Cirrus will run ya. Bottom line is that it will you cost you some scratch either way you look at it..........
