Also heard the company may make DFW a satellite base for FAs only. That would ease the commute some. Anyone able to shed any light.
I'm a DFW commuter. I have heard that rumor but I would not count on it. You will hear ton on DFW rumors b/c we have so many commuters to make them up. From around April-Mid Aug it's a hard commute. Then easy up until Holidays and special events. We do have a ton of flights with DL and AA. SW will go direct starting in Oct. If you have 20 or more years with Delta I would move. On the commute policy, I remember when it came out management was saying they only wanted you do use this 1-2 times a year. Now I have had some guys tell me you can use it as much as you need. I have never had to use it. It would be a great question when your in Indoc to ask a chief pilot when they come to there free dinner.
