Skywest INC would have been smart to never touch XJT in bankruptcy. They were doing quite well with just Skywest and ASA. They wanted to try to compete with republic when they purchased frontier. We all know how well that work for the republic guys. Now the guys and gals at ASA are suffering thanks to a poor business decision to buy XJT.
The facts suggest ASA is suffering because it’s loosing planes to larger ones and Delta. The facts would also suggest that Delta moved planes from it’s wholly owned, Comair to ASA. Woe to ASA for losing planes it acquired from Comair. The facts also suggest that Endeavour is Delta’s current wholly owned and hasn’t gone on strike and works for less than ASA. Hardly anything to do with SkyWest or ExpressJet.
