Hey guys had a quick question on this. It sounds like in the audio that at first the pilot is in a downward spin after being disorientated? ATC told him to release the stick/push forward/pull back, etc. I forget the order. It seemed like right after this he was out of the spin?? I guess I'm just wondering how that fixed the issue? I understand releasing the stick so as not to make it worse but wouldn't you also need full opposite rudder?
He was probably never in a spin, but just got disorientation when he lost outside reference and panicked.
Radar track supposedly supports this but I can't find any real evidence or the actual radar track from any sources.
